Microsoft’s launch of Windows 10 over the last days of July was met with much praise. This is a clearly a very different Microsoft that has listened to customer demand for most, if not all of the features that were included. Since Windows 10 is now a living operating system, and not just a product that ends, feature updates are to be expected.

We recently heard rumors that the first feature update was slated for a launch in October, and that it would include universal Skype, Messaging and Video, in addition to support for extensions to the Microsoft Edge browser. As it turns out we now see sources claiming that this might not happen until November, even though reasons for the delay were not specified.

It would be unfair for this to be called a delay though, as Microsoft hasn’t really committed to a feature update in any date. We’ll keep an eye on more rumors as they come.
