To celebrate its 60th anniversary of operation in Canada, fast food chain KFC is introducing a very unique, limited edition chicken bucket. Not only does this bucket provide all of your fried chicken-holding needs, but it’s also able to wirelessly print photos from your smartphone via Bluetooth. According to the image on this new “Memories Bucket”, all you need to do to print your photos is “Snap. Select. Send. Share.”

No, this is not a joke.

Unfortunately for those in need of a new Bluetooth photo printer, you won’t be able to pick up your own Memories Bucket at your local KFC. The comments on the company’s Facebook page hint that KFC Canada will be giving some away to a few “lucky” winners in the near future.

Oddly enough, this isn’t the first time the chicken chain has combined food with technology. As part of an advertising campaign for KFC Germany last May, the Tray Typer, a rechargeable Bluetooth keyboard that allowed customers to type out tweets, Facebook status updates and more, was served up to customers in place of the company’s typical paper tray liners. KFC is apparently not afraid to think outside of the box, or in this case, the bucket, so I think we should all be looking forward to what the company has planned for its next marketing scheme.
